    Highlight of the week: Essence of Coffee

    This amazing little Coffee House/Restaurant started in Perth, Australia in 2007.  The father and son ownership dual decided to open up their brand here in Rapid City some years ago, and patrons such as myself are SO happy they did.  When you walk in the front door you will be greeted by the owner Dale or the cashier ALONG with the chef in the kitchen.  Their many coffee varieties have you covered to satisfy your caffeinated or decaffeinated desires.

    Their menu features a variety local chef inspired items such as these two:

    The Avocado Open Face: A toasted bagel smeared with jalapeno-chive cream cheese and fresh avocado, drizzled with a sweet garlic sauce and topped with two over medium eggs and local micro greens.

    Balsamic Steak Salad: Balsamic marinated steak with local mixed greens, sundried tomatoes, bell peppers, red onion, and parmesan cheese.

    YUMMY!!!  Just typing those descriptions makes me hungry.  I suppose I should head over to Essence of Coffee now…

    Whether you are in need of a coffee or a meal, Essence of Coffee should be on that list of go to places.
